The Schneider Uniflair Indirect Free Cooling range exploits low ambient temperatures to provide partial or full free cooling without direct outside air entering the data hall. When ambient conditions permit, the system bypasses mechanical refrigeration and uses the outdoor air to cool an intermediate fluid loop, reducing energy consumption by up to 75% during favourable conditions.
CRAC Services supplies, installs and services the Uniflair IFC range. Indirect free cooling is particularly effective in Australian climates with cool overnight temperatures, delivering strong PUE improvements for data centres targeting NABERS or Green Star ratings.
